“Come here…you have to see this!”
I stepped outside into the summer night, “Look!” my husband exclaimed. As my eyes adjusted, I could see a multitude of twinkling lights across the row of backyards. It was dozens of fireflies, flashing on and off, sprinkling the night with magic.
It was a quiet moment; peaceful and beautiful. Light in the darkness.

Darkness is nothing new, it has been around since the beginning but it is not the end of the story.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, take some time to let your eyes adjust. Look closely and see the glimmering lights piercing through the darkness; bringing peace and joy to a world that seems so dark but has not been overcome.
