Be Still

What if? What now? How will I manage?

I’m listening.

It’s quite ironic that after I wrote about making rest a priority, all chaos reigned.  Things out of my control pressed down on all sides taking power over my time.  It’s also ironic that after several weeks of juggling, the message on Sunday was about making rest a priority.  Hmmm…Did the pastor read my blog post?  LOL.  I doubt it!  Is God maybe trying to remind me?

Strengthen Your Marriage with These Two Words!

by Taylor   – 1 Corinthians 15:57, (NIV), “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

As my pastor says, “When we receive a gift, the proper reply is, ‘Thank you.'”

More than Winter Blues

I dealt with this before, I talked to a psychiatrist about it the past.  He called it Seasonal Affective Disorder – or SAD (appropriate).  I call it my winter blues. There were appropriate steps that I know I could take that would help me, but I just didn’t want to get up.  I wasn’t even hungry.
